You know, I liked White Teeth, but it didn't move me to pick up another of her books either.

I finally read On Beauty this year and really enjoyed it, but I'm not certain if I enjoyed it enough to go running out for more...(then again, I'm both in a reading rut and a streak of historical nonfiction, figure that out.) I did also once review a book on Zadie Smith and the postcolonial representation of Afro-Caribbeans in England, which was also interesting - what turned me to her books in the first place. I just wish I could remember the title.
